1. Restriction of dietary K+ intake
2. Eliminate K+ supplements and K+-sparing diuretics
3. Loop diuretics to promote K+ excretion
4. Potassium binding ion-exchange resins (e.g., sodium polystyrene sulfonate or Kayexelate)
5.  Insulin (10 units regular) and glucose (50 mL of 50% dextrose) to promote intracellular mobilization.
