Results Published

The Provisional Rank list of General candidates and the results of Service
candidates who have appeared for the Entrance Examination for admission to Post
Graduate Medical (Degree/Diploma) Courses 2012 conducted on 19.02.2012 at
Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam and Kozhikode are published herewith.
While preparing the rank list, two questions in Paper -I and two questions in
Paper- II have been deleted since there were more than one correct choices for these
questions. These questions have not been included for valuation and no marks have
been awarded for these deleted questions to any candidate. The marks obtained for the
remaining148 questions in Paper -I & 148 questions in Paper- II have been multiplied by
(150/148) to get the actual marks (corrected to four decimals). The above formula is
applied to award proportionate marks based on the score of the candidates in the
questions considered for valuation (excluding deleted questions) to compensate the loss
of marks for the deleted questions.
The Provisional Rank list of General Quota candidates and the results of Service
Quota candidates will be available for reference in this office and on the website
www.cee-kerala.org.
Inclusion of a candidate in the rank list does not entitle him/her for admission to
the courses, unless he/she satisfies the eligibility conditions contained in the
Government approved Prospectus. The Director of Medical Education will make
allotment and admissions as per the conditions laid down in the Prospectus.

AIPGMEE results to be delayed...

Postponement of Declaration of Result of AIPGMEE-2012

This is for information to the candidate who appeared in All India PG
Medical/Dental Entrance Examination 2012 that Directorate General of Health
Services has filed an I.A. before Hon’ble Supreme Court of India for seeking
permission to do on-line counseling ( on-line seat allotment) in place of
counseling by personal appearance and increasing number of candidate
allotment process. In this connection the result of All India PG Medical/Dental
Entrance Examination 2012 will be declared in due course of time after getting
approval from the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.

MMST notification , IIT Kharagpur

School of Medical Science and Technology (SMST), Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur offers a 3 years post graduate program - Masters in Medical Science and Technology (MMST) for MBBS graduates. This programme imparts engineering skills to medical professionals and train them for the state-of-the-art medical research in frontier areas of Medical Imaging, Molecular Imaging and Image Analysis, Biomaterials and Implants, Biophysics, Medical Statistics, Telemedicine, Biomedical Instrumentation, Early Detection of Cancer, Immuno-technology, Recombinant DNA Technology, Biomedical Simulation, Wound research and so on. After the completion of this course the medical professionals become well equipped to fill the void that separates the medical sciences from advanced technology.

Application Procedure

MMST 2012 application is to be submitted only by an ONLINE process (internet based) by accessing the website http://gate.iitkgp.ac.in/mmst from 23 January 2012 till 9 March 2012. The candidate should first pay the Application Fee by obtaining a Demand Draft drawn in favour of IIT Kharagpur on any nationalised bank payable at Kharagpur, West Bengal. The draft details are require while filling up the ONLINE application form after successful submission of data. The printed form, with candidate's signature and photograph pasted at appropriate place, and the Demand Draft must be sent by speed post so as to reach by 15 March 2012 to The Chairman, GATE, IIT Kharagpur, Kharagpur - 721302.

Following additional documents should be mailed along with the printed Application Form :
1.    Attested copy of OBC (Non-creamy)/SC/ST/PD certificate (if applicable)
2.   Attested copies of MBBS Degree (recognized by MCI) with mark sheet of all yearsas a proof of obtaining a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.
3.    Attested copy of proof of having studies Mathematics at +2 level (even as an additional subject)

Application Fees

Rs. 1000/- for General Category and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST/PD Category.

FEMALE CANDIDATES ARE NOT REQUIRED TO PAY ANY APPLICATION FEE

Admit Card

Admit Card is issued only to eligible candidates who submit the application form completed in all respects before the closing date. GATE office will dispatch the admit card starting from 3 April 2012. If it is not received by 15th April 2012, the Chairman GATE IIT Kharagpur should be contacted for necessary action. The admit card should be preserved by the candidate even after the examination for the purpose of counseling.

Admission Test

The admission test is of objective type to identify the aptitude of the candidates for a program like MMST. The test is of two hours duration and held between 10:00 A.M.to 12:00 Noon on Sunday, 29 April 2012. The candidate needs to answer 120 questions out of which 75 questions are assigned to the typical MBBS syllabi. The remaining questions are equally distributed to cover the syllabi of +2 level Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. Each correct answer carries one mark and each wrong answer carries 0.25 negative marks.

Counselling

On the basis of performance in the written test a list of qualified candidates will be prepared and these candidates are called for counseling at IIT Kharagpur on 21 June 2012 (Tentative) before final selection is made for admission.

Online Test Booking System (OTBS) is a real time web based online scheduling system. The schedule bookings are done on first come first basis and are subject to availability.

In case of non-availability of slots in a centre of choice, the candidate may choose to book a slot in an alternate centre.

A slot once booked cannot be changed. Requests for change of test centre, date and slot will not be entertained under any circumstances.

Instructions for filling Online Application- JIPMER

Candidate should read the instructions carefully before making any entry or selecting options.

Candidate should supply all the required details while filling up the online form. Mandatory fields

are marked with * (asterisk) sign. The filling of online application contains two parts:

MD/MS Entrance Exam 2012:

Part I - New Application (Closes on 09-01-2012)

Part II - Complete Application (Closes on 09-01-2012 at 5:00 PM)

1. In Part I “New Application”, candidate will have to fill basic information. On submission of

details, candidate will be prompted to check the details and make correction, if any, in the

application.

2. When the Next button is clicked, Applicants must have to upload a recent passport size

photograph with file size not more than 100KB. (File size that exceeds the limit of 100KB

will not be accepted).

3. When “Next” button is pressed, and after selecting the payment mode a page with

Reference Number will be generated. Please note down reference number, user name

and password or take a print out of the page.

4. Reference number is must for future Correspondence.

5. Without the Reference number, No details of the Applicant can be retrieved.

6. Candidates who can pay application fee online though payment gateway can complete

the Application Process in a step and get a copy of Application Printout immediately.

7. Candidates who selected the Demand Draft (DD) Payment mode must Login again to fill

the Payment Details.

8. Part II “Complete Application” contains filing procedure of payment details –

9. Candidates who selected the Online Payment mode in Part I “New Application” and failed

to pay online at the instance can continue online payment by Login again by Part II

10. Those who want to pay online, through net banking, credit card or debit card can use Part

II “Complete Application” after completion of Part I “New Application”.

11. Candidate will have to supply reference number, user name, password and Name to

continue to Part II “Complete Application”.

General Instructions to Candidates

Please ensure that you have the following, ready on hand before you start filling up the Online Application Form

Note: Send the Application and enclosures in A4 size envelope only. Do not fold the application form.

	Demand Draft drawn in favour of "COMEDK", payable at Bangalore for Rs.2000/- (Two Thousand Only).
	All marks cards (First Year to Final Year university examination marks card/s)
	Attempt Certificate is a statement indicating the number of attempt one has taken to clear a particular subject/year.
	Ensure that the online application form is filled up properly and completely.
	After you have filled in your online application form, click on the Submit button only once, to send the details to the server.
	The server will assign you an application number, and provide the facility to view your online application form with the details you have filled, along with the 6 digits application number.
	Only after verifying the details take a print of the Application Form and the Date of Birth Certificate.
	The completed application form must have the candidate’s signature, impressions of left thumb, left forefinger and left middle finger.
	Kindly do not send any original documents along with the application form.
	Kindly stick your recent (not older than six months) passport size colour photograph only in the space provided. Application Form with smudged / tampered or hazy photograph will be rejected.
	Do not staple or pin your photograph to the application form. Do not Sign. No attestation is required on the photograph.
	Please adhere to the time schedule enlisted in the calendar of events.
	Incomplete / incorrect applications will be rejected without prior information to the candidate.

	Photocopies of All marks cards including that of failed year if any (First Year to Final Year university examination marks card/s).
	Photocopy of Attempt Certificate is a statement indicating the number of attempt one has taken to clear a particular subject/year.
	Photocopy of Internship Completion Certificate / Internship Completed Certificate.
	Photocopy of Degree Certificate/Provisional Degree Certificate.
	Photocopy of Registration Certificate.
	Candidates belonging to SC / ST of All India and OBC of Karnataka would be considered, provided they furnish the duly attested Photocopy of the following Certificates: a. SC / ST: Caste Certificate issued by competent authority (Authorised to issue such a certificate but not below the rank of a Tahsildar) b. OBC: Category I, IIA, IIB, IIIA and IIIB: As notified by the Karnataka Govt. Caste and Income Certificate issued by Tahsildar or higher revenue jurisdictional authority authorised to issue such a certificate. c. MINORITY: Religious (Christian) of All India / Linguistic (Tulu/Telugu) of Karnataka minority candidates to produce certificate as per Appendix –IV of Brochure (available on www.comedk.org) Candidates who have not produced appropriate supporting documents for claiming the status of Religious / Linguistic Minority / SC / ST / OBC are liable to be considered as General Merit Candidates.

Note:
Avoid stapling of Demand Draft to the application form, instead use clips.

Note:
The recent passport size photographs have to be identical. It should not be more than 6 months old. Application with smudged/tampered or hazy photograph will not be accepted. Any application received not adhering to these specifications will be rejected without any clarifications and no refund will be made. The decision of the COMEDK Committee on this would be final and binding.
